In more than twenty-five years as a pastor, three things still get me up in the morning. I love spending time with people in the Bible, connecting people across cultural boundaries in Jesus Christ, and developing artists to express God's glory.
I received my PhD in May 2017 from Southern Seminary in Louisville, KY. My work is at the intersections of philosophy, theology, and the arts. I'm also a violinist. I have played with the North State Symphony, a regional orchestra based in Chico, CA, and in chamber music festivals.
In April 2020, I became lead pastor of Towamencin Mennonite Church in Kulpsville, PA. This congregation has been thriving for 300 years north of Philadelphia, and is growing with young families and ethnic diversity. We are a Gospel-focused church devoted to biblical exposition and discipleship.
My wife Bridget, our two sons, and I live in Tylersport, PA.
